Cuban national stabbed to death at Land of Canaan Shipyard

(Kaieteur News) – Police are investigating the alleged murder of a 37-year-old Cuban national who was fatally stabbed during an argument at a shipyard at Land of Canaan, East Bank Demerara, on Saturday night.
Dead is Luis Angel Rodriguez Guillen, who was employed at the shipyard.
According to preliminary investigations, Guillen and a 32-year-old Cuban national, also employed at the shipyard, were involved in an argument at about 23:00hrs which escalated into a physical altercation.
