Armed robbers tied up a family from Tarouba Village, San Fernando and ransacked their residence at a local minimart on Friday morning.
Police sat that at 11:30 a.m., a man armed with a knife entered the business and demanded valuables, stealing an iPhone worth $6,000. He then forced the victims inside their home, where two accomplices restrained them with duct tape while one kept watch.
The robbers proceeded to loot the house, making off with gold jewelry, electronics, cash, and a carton of cigarettes, with a total estimated value of $64,150. The items included gold rings, bracelets, chains, anklets, two iPhones, a tablet, and a bottle of liquor.
