A MAN and a woman were tied up and robbed of $500,000 in cash during a home invasion at their Tunapuna apartment on Wednesday evening.

Police reports state that around 6.40 p.m., five masked men, armed with guns, entered the apartment, located off St Vincent Street.

They announced a hold-up and restrained the victims before stealing a small black safe containing the cash.
