Police are investigating a home burglary in La Romaine, San Fernando, early Wednesday morning.
Reports indicate that around 3 a.m. two men dressed in dark hoodies and armed with a cutlass entered a residence on Concord Road. The intruders bound the hands of the occupants, a 30-year-old couple, and proceeded to ransack the house.
The burglars stole approximately 80 grammes of scrap gold worth more that $70,000, several gold rings and hand bands, a Louis Vuitton hand band, three gold beras, a quantity of alcohol, and $38,000. Officers noted no signs of forced entry, with the suspects believed to have exited through the front door on the side of the house.
