A 33-year-old postman and his family escaped injury after two armed men stole their car and an iPhone in Cunupia on Sunday evening.
Police said the manwas seated in his gold Nissan Almera with his wife and two children, aged six and nine, near the Low-Cost Supermarket on Chin Chin Road around 6:30 p.m. when a Nissan Tiida pulled alongside them. Two men ran toward the vehicle, one armed with a firearm.
The suspects ordered the man and his wife out of the car. The couple requested that their children be released from the vehicle, which the robbers allowed. The criminals then drove off in the Almera, valued at $25,000, along with an iPhone valued at $5,500.
