Police are investigating an armed robbery in Cunupia on Sunday night in which a soldier and a woman were held up and robbed of a vehicle, cash, and other valuables.
Around 11:10 p.m., the victims were seated in a silver Kia Sonata along Marshall Trace, when two men armed with firearms approached and announced a robbery.
The soldier was robbed of his white iPhone 14, valued at $3,800, and his vehicle, which contained a government-issued camouflage bulletproof vest, combat clothing, and a pair of military boots. The woman was robbed of $1,500 in cash.
