Bandit flees after female cashier grabs gun during Linden gas station robbery

(Kaieteur News) – A lone bandit bolted with an undisclosed amount of cash on Friday after a female cashier grabbed his gun during a robbery at Hinds Gas Station in Linden.

A video of the robbery went viral after viewers reacted to cashier’s “quick thinking.”

Police told Kaieteur News that the bandit entered the gas station around 19:15 hrs. with a gun and demanded that the cashier hand over all the cash.
