In a statement yesterday, the TTPS said the alleged victim, a 38-year-old woman from Malgretoute Road, Princes Town, reported that she was unlawfully detained and assaulted by a 54-year-old male resident of Princess Margaret Street, San Fernando.
Police said the woman claimed the incidents began on Friday, February 27, when she visited the suspect’s residence to collect money owed.
