A re­tiree from Princes Town was sex­u­al­ly as­sault­ed dur­ing a home in­va­sion on Sat­ur­day.

The woman told po­lice she went to bed around 9 pm on Fri­day, and around 1.30 am, she awoke to find a Span­ish-speak­ing man armed with a knife in­side her bed­room.

The sus­pect ap­proached her, touched her body, and forced her to en­gage in sex­u­al acts be­fore leav­ing through a door on the east­ern side of the house. He left her with cuts and bruis­es on her body.
