Police are investigating a daring robbery in which five men disguised in black hijabs stormed a California mini mart yesterday morning and escaped with thousands of dollars in cash.

Around 11.06 a.m., the group entered Croisee Discount Mini Mart along the Southern Main Road. Two were armed with guns, one had a cutlass and one carried a hammer.

They approached two female cashiers on duty and announced a hold-up. The suspects emptied the cash registers of the day’s sales and also stole one cashier’s Samsung A14 cellphone.
