A security officer accused of helping himself to more than $2 million from an ATM he was assigned to service has been slapped with a larceny charge after the alleged theft was reportedly caught on camera.
Charged is 55-year-old Terrance Austin of Kintyre Road, Kingston 6.
According to police reports, a financial institution discovered discrepancies involving funds that had allegedly gone missing between January and May this year and alerted representatives of the security company contracted to service the location.
