A trip to Spanish Town ended in a costly nightmare for a St Catherine man after he lost his wallet and later discovered that more than $300,000 had allegedly been drained from his bank account.
Detectives assigned to the St Catherine North Police Division are now investigating the case as one of unauthorised access to computer data and fraud.
Reports are that on July 16, the man travelled to Spanish Town to conduct business. However, upon returning home, he realised that his wallet was missing.
