A Manchester cashier is now facing simple larceny charges, following an incident that occurred between November 2, 2025, and May 27, 2026.
The Mandeville police have charged 26-year-old Chris-Ann Baker, of St Toolies in the incident. Reports from the Mandeville police are that Baker allegedly used a stolen JN bank card to make two unauthorised transactions at an ATM in May Pen, Clarendon, withdrawing a total of $80,000. The matter was reported to the police, and an investigation was launched.
Following investigations, Baker was apprehended and subsequently charged after investigators reviewed CCTV footage. She is scheduled to appear before the Mandeville Parish Court on July 15.
