Detectives assigned to the St Catherine South Police Division have launched an investigation into a breaking and robbery of automated teller machines (ATMs) at the Scotiabank in Portmore.
Although the exact amount of cash stolen is undetermined, it is believed to be substantial.
According to the police, between 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27 and 8:43 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, culprits gained access to the ATMs, stole the cash, and escaped.
