A man was killed and an­oth­er in­jured af­ter be­ing hit by a car on the Churchill Roo­sevelt High­way near the Mal­oney traf­fic lights late Sat­ur­day.

Po­lice said around 11.55 p.m., a black Hon­da Vezel was head­ing west when it struck two men cross­ing the high­way. One man, who has not yet been iden­ti­fied, died at the scene, while the oth­er, Saleem Mo­hammed, was tak­en to hos­pi­tal for treat­ment.
