A man believed to be socially displaced was struck and killed while crossing the Churchill Roosevelt Highway on Saturday night.
Up to yesterday he had not been identified.
Police said that around 8 p.m., the driver of a BMW SUV was heading west along the highway when near the St Augustine Girls’ High School (SAGHS) when he struck the man who he said was dressed in dark clothing and was running from south to north across the highway.
