FOUR armed men stormed a supermarket in Longdenville on Sunday morning, assaulting three people and escaping with cash, cigarettes and a firearm belonging to a security officer.
Police said the robbery occurred about 8.20 a.m. at PAX Supermarket, along Longdenville Main Road, Chaguanas.
Investigators said the proprietors of the business, two Chinese nationals aged 61 and 28, were conducting sales while a 58-year-old security officer was on duty when the gunmen entered the establishment and announced a robbery.
