Police are investigating a robbery with violence that occurred around 6 p.m. on Friday outside a supermarket on Ramsaran Street, Chaguanas.
According to police, a 53-year-old Cunupia woman was unpacking groceries into her vehicle at the western end of the Price Club Supermarket car park when she was approached by two men. The suspects reportedly forcefully removed two gold bangles and a gold chain from the victim before escaping in a black Mitsubishi SUV, registration PDX 9732.
Both suspects are described as slim-built men with short curly hair. One is said to be approximately six feet tall, wearing a short-sleeved T-shirt and long jeans; the other, around five feet tall, also wore a short-sleeved T-shirt.
