A 36-year-old man was stabbed early Sunday morning during an argument with his girlfriend in Carenage, police reported.
The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. while the couple was attending a neighbour’s birthday party. A dispute arose after the man danced with another woman.
According to police, the girlfriend damaged the man’s cell phone at the party. The argument continued later at the man’s home when he confronted her about the phone. During the altercation, she allegedly armed herself with scissors and stabbed him twice in the upper chest before leaving the premises with her belongings.
