A MAN had to run for his life on Monday when his ex-girlfriend reportedly armed herself with a knife and confronted him at his Laventille home.
Police said that around 12 noon the man, 42 was at his Upper Laventille Road, Trou Macaque when the ex-girlfriend walked in unannounced wielding a knife.
He told officers that she started an argument with him during which she attempted to grab his car keys which was on a kitchen counter. While trying to prevent her from grabbing the keys, she stabbed him multiple times to his left and right forearm. Fearing for his life, he ran out the house and was struck by a bottle she reportedly threw at him.
