A night out turned violent at Sea View Bar on Kings Wharf when a dispute escalated into a stabbing that left one man bleeding profusely from the head and another under arrest.
Around 6p.m. on Friday, Tony Mark, 47, of Caratal Road, Gasparillo, was involved in an argument with his girlfriend when he was approached by a 56-year-old security officer of Parforce Road, Gasparillo.
According to police reports, the guard confronted Mark with a glass bottle and threatened to beat him if he did not leave the bar. When Mark hesitated, a struggle broke out. The guard allegedly broke the bottle and stabbed Mark several times in the head.
