Police said that around 4 a.m. officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force responded to a report of a suspected arson at Maraj Street, off Quarry Road, San Juan.
At the scene they met fire officers from Fire Service Headquarters, Wrightson Road, Port of Spain, who told the police that when they arrived they met a two-storey concrete house ablaze, which they eventually brought under control using another fire tender.
