Four men were killed in separate incidents across Trinidad within 24 hours, with police investigating motives linked to revenge and prior altercations.
St. James Shooting
Junior Cleary, 19, of Dibe Road, Long Circular, was shot in St. James just before 11pm on Friday night. Police officers responding to reports of gunfire at Benares Street found Cleary lying on the pavement with head injuries and laboured breathing. Officers transported him to the St. James Medical Infirmary, where he was pronounced dead at 11:23 p.m.
