Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has issued a warning to criminals and recently released detain­ees held under preventive detention orders (PDOs) that she will call another state of emergency (SoE) and raise hell if they unleash terror on law-abiding citizens.

Both the Prime Minister and Minister of Homeland Security Ro­ger Alexander delivered strong statements yester­day, making it clear they would not allow a return to runaway crime and rampant violence which they said marked the past decade under the former People’s National Movement (PNM) administration.
