A security guard fired on home intruders during an early morning patrol in Lange Park, Chaguanas district on Monday.

At around 12.35 a.m. an Estate Constable attached to Allied Security Services Limited received a call from the company’s command centre that several men were seen on the premises of the security garage located along Tobago Road.

The officer, who was on mobile patrol in Lange Park at the time, responded to the report along with a fellow security officer. They met two armed security personnel already on the compound and were granted access to conduct a search of the area.
