While two bandits were robbing a woman inside her home, police said on Tuesday they were delayed by private security for 45 minutes from entering the gated community in Arima where the woman lives.
Officers WPC Augustus, PC Winchester, PC Ali and PC Punter reported that around 2.20 p.m., they responded to a Command Centre report of a home invasion at East Lakes, Tumpuna Road, Arima.
Upon arrival at the compound, they met officers of the Northern Division Task Force, PC Dematas and PC London, as well as security personnel attached to SWAT Security.
