3 crash victims robbed on Beetham Highway

THREE people were robbed of their cellphones and cash after the vehicle in which they were travelling crashed into a median along the Beetham Highway on Friday night.
The incident occurred around 9.30 p.m. near the Vehicle Management Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (VMCOTT), Port of Spain.
Police said a 20-year-old man was driving a Honda Grace Hybrid east along the highway, accompanied by two women, aged 18, when he attempted to avoid a collision with another vehicle and crashed into the median.
