Three residents of East Dry River were robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning after their vehicle broke down along the Beetham Highway near the WASA station, in the vicinity of the Beetham Landfill.
The victims, aged between 42 and 53, were heading west along the highway around 1:20 a.m. on July 28, when their vehicle experienced mechanical issues and came to a stop.
According to police reports from the Besson Street Police District, the trio was approached by six men, one of whom announced a hold-up.
