Opposition senators Faris Al-Rawi and Janelle John-Bates will not face investigation by the Senate’s Privileges Committee after the matter effectively lapsed with the end of the First Session of the 13th Republican Parliament yesterday.
The Express was initially informed that the matter would be carried forward into the new session.
However, as Parliament concluded yesterday, no further action was taken and no report was laid.
