Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles is considering if she will accept the resignation of Opposition Senator Janelle John-Bates.

The political fate of both John-Bates and Opposition Senator Faris Al-Rawi is yet to be decided by Beckles, who requested that both senators submit reports on their involvement in assisting former health minister Terrence Deyalsingh with his witness statement to the Public Administration and Appropriations Committee (PAAC).
