Opposition Senator Janelle John-Bates is facing mounting political pressure from the Government after a motion was brought yesterday to have her removed from the Joint Select Committee (JSC) on National Security.
The matter unfolded around 1 p.m. when the Committee convened in camera (not broadcast to the public).
Sources told the Express that Energy Minister Dr Roodal Moonilal brought a motion recommending that John-Bates be removed from the Committee.
