MANCHESTER, England (CMC):
Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw found the back of the net for the third straight match but Manchester City needed two late goals to get past Liverpool 4-2 in a thrilling encounter in the Women’s Super League here yesterday.
Shaw struck for City on the stroke of half-time – her fourth goal in three matches – to level the scores, before a Liverpool own goal and a second strike by Lauren Hemp ensured they would remain unbeaten and stay at the top of the table.
