LONDON, England (CMC) â Khadija âBunnyâ Shaw continued her impressive start to the Womenâs Super League (WSL), scoring a goal and providing an assist as Manchester City demolished Aston Villa 4-1 on Sunday to extend their unbeaten start.
The Jamaican international and reigning Golden Boot winner provided an assist to Mary Fowler in the first half before finding the back of the net late in the second half for her third goal in two matches.
Man City got on the scoresheet first when Aston Villa goalkeeper Akane Okuma punched a clearance in the air, but the ball fell to the feet of City defender Jade Rose who drilled home from six yards in the 14th minute.
