Twenty more men have been placed under preventive detention orders during the State of Emergency, with authorities alleging they are gang leaders, enforcers, shooters, advisers and affiliates involved in organised criminal activity across Trinidad.
The detention orders, signed by Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander between June 22 and July 4, were published in the Gazette under Regulation 14 of the Emergency Powers Regulations, 2026.
