Homeland Security Minister has ordered the detention of 24 more people believed to be involved in gang activities, including a police officer held for allegedly tipping off criminals.
According to the Preventive Detention Orders (PDOs) gazetted yesterday and signed on Tuesday, 17 were for gang members, two for gang leaders and five others were for people believed to be assisting gangs.
Among those detained was police officer Stefon Khan, who was held for utilising his position to provide access to policing facilities to a member of a gang.
