(Kaieteur News) – A 26-year-old farmer from Potarinau Village in the Central Rupununi has been handed a total fine of $65,000 after pleading guilty to a string of traffic violations before the Lethem Magistrates’ Court.
Abel Mandook appeared on Thursday before Magistrate Omadatt Chandan, where he admitted to four separate offences committed the previous day on the St. Ignatius Public Road, Central Rupununi, while operating motorcycle CR 548.
Mandook’s guilty pleas covered the following offences:
