‘Mastermind’ nabbed in RideShare robberies

POLICE have arrested a man they describe as the “mastermind” behind two robberies involving TT RideShare drivers and are moving to charge him in connection with the incidents.

The suspect was arrested following investigations into reports of robbery with violence and kidnapping involving drivers on June 6 and 10, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service stated in a media release yesterday.

The investigations were conducted by acting W/Insps Edwards-Ali and Sherry-Martin and coordinated by Supt Ramdeen, with assistance from officers of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and the Port of Spain Task Force.
