A Laven­tille man was ab­duct­ed and robbed af­ter ac­cept­ing a job via TT Ride Share in San­ta Cruz on Sun­day night.

The 30-year-old, of Mc Shine Lands, Laven­tille, who is em­ployed with the Trinidad and To­ba­go Postal Ser­vice as a re­tail of­fi­cer, al­so op­er­ates as a dri­ver with the TT Ride Share com­pa­ny.

Po­lice said the man ac­cept­ed a job via the Ride Share app around 11.15 pm at Sam Bou­caud Grounds, San­ta Cruz, where he was in­struct­ed to pick up a woman near the WASA pump­ing sta­tion.
