An armed security officer was disarmed and tied up during a robbery at a government compound in Scarborough on Monday.
The incident occurred around 4.35 a.m. on Monday at the Tractor Pool, operated by the Division of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment and Sustainable Development, located at Old Farm Road.
The victim, a 43-year-old estate constable from Carnbee was on duty, armed with a Browning pistol loaded with 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
