A 61-year-old female security officer was assaulted and robbed while on duty at the Iere Village Government Primary School on Sunday.

The woman, employed with Innovative Security Services, was standing in the yard area of the school around 8:30 p.m. when she was approached by three masked men, all dressed in black and armed with cutlasses.

They stole her jewelry, cell phone, banking documents, and a knap sack.
