The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has issued another Yellow Level Alert warning of an increased likelihood of adverse weather conditions over the next 24 hours. A high (80%) chance of intermittent rainfall of varying intensities and isolated thunderstorms is forecast over Trinidad, particularly affecting southern and central areas.
These regions have already experienced saturation due to recent rainfall.
Tobago is expected to see a medium (60%) chance of isolated heavy showers or thunderstorms. However, the presence of higher concentrations of Saharan dust is expected to limit widespread rainfall activity on the island.
