A licensed firearm holder shot and wounded an alleged robber after he and his wife were attacked while walking to their car in El Socorro on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the couple were walking along Persad Lane around 1.40 p.m. towards their white BMW when they were approached by two men.

According to investigators, one of the suspects grabbed the male victim by the shirt collar from behind and held a knife to his waist while the other approached his wife.
