A 28-year-old woman narrowly escaped serious harm on Friday evening after a gunman opened fire on her vehicle at the Tru Valu supermarket compound in Diego Martin.
Police said the victim, of Diego Martin, was seated in her Jetta motor vehicle around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday when an unidentified man approached her and fired several shots at her car.
The woman, who had earlier gone to the location in search of her brother’s lost cellphone, told police she recognised the shooter as the same individual who had been involved in a physical altercation with her brother earlier that evening.
