Police are searching for two male suspects who attempted to rob two men in Barataria who went to purchase a vehicle advertised on Facebook Market Place. One of the victims was shot during the incident.

A police report stated that the victims went to Eastern Main Road, Barataria in the vicinity of Steamy Clean Drive Thru, to purchase a Hyundai Elantra which was advertised on Facebook Market Place for a negotiated price of $58,000.00.

While waiting in their vehicle for the seller to arrive, a white Toyota Axio pulled up opposite the Drive Thru, two men exited, approached the victims and announced a robbery.
