One man is expected to appear before an Arima magistrate to face charges of drug trafficking after police found a quantity of marijuana at a house in Arima early today.
Police said officers of the Transit Police Task Force and the Arima CID visited a house on Alfred Street, off Olton Road, at about 4 am where they found a marijuana nursery with 72 marijuana plants and 400 grammes of dried marijuana.
The exercise was coordinated by Supt Robert Joseph of the Transit Police Unit and supervised by Sgt Kurt Virgil.
