A 31-year-old man was ar­rest­ed af­ter po­lice found a quan­ti­ty of cannabis at a house in Mar­aval dur­ing an an­ti-crime ex­er­cise yes­ter­day.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, act­ing on in­for­ma­tion, Task Force of­fi­cers, with as­sis­tance from the ACP Tac­ti­cal Op­er­a­tions, searched a house at Nicholas Street in Mar­aval, where they found 49 pack­ages con­tain­ing 26.76 kilo­grammes of cannabis.

The sus­pect, who was at the house at the time of the search, was ar­rest­ed in con­nec­tion with the find.
