REGIONAL security consultant Dr Garvin Heerah has called for an intensified national security response following Trinidad and Tobago's murder toll surpassing 200. He described the figure as a reminder of the country's ongoing security challenges.
As of yesterday, the murder toll was 203.
The comparative for the same period in 2025 was 214.
