THE triple murder in Belmont yesterday is a reminder that law enforcement agencies 'cannot let their guard down' despite recent declines in violent crime under the state of emergency (SoE).
So said criminologist Dr Randy Seepersad.
Seepersad said criminal elements, including gangs and organised crime groups, would exploit any perceived lapse in policing or security operations.
