Three foreign nationals, including a well-known British artist and two visiting designers from Ireland, were victims of a violent robbery late Thursday night at a secluded bungalow near the Corbin Wildlife Centre in Mason Hall, Tobago.
According to police, around 11p.m., Irish Aisling, 28, and Fiona Gunis, both visiting from Dublin, Ireland, were inside a bedroom when they saw the hand of an armed man reach through a window, followed by a voice commanding them to stay quiet.
The intruder, described as slim-built, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, wearing a black beanie hat and a mask, entered the room through the window. The terrified women screamed and fled by jumping through the window, injuring one of them in the process.
