entral Division police have arrested two brothers in connection with the attack on an off-duty prison officer in Cunupia earlier this month, during which his mother, Susan Medrano-St Louis, 65, was shot and killed.

The incident took place around 8:25 a.m. on August 16 near a Sauce doubles outlet at the corner of Robert Trace and the Southern Main Road.

Investigators said the prison officer, who lives in Valencia, had travelled in a green-band maxi taxi with relatives, including his mother, for an excursion. While at the doubles outlet, a white Nissan Tiida pulled into the parking area, and two men—the brothers—exited the vehicle. An argument broke out between them and the officer over a parking spot, escalating into a physical altercation.
